Ford sent me a PCO Certificate but the address in the system is wrong. Please help

I'm looking at a 2023 Light Lariat ER and I got this PCO($2000) however when the dealer looked in the system they saw the offer but it shows an incorrect address where I once worked, not the one I've been living at for the past 11 years.

The dealer advised i reach out to Ford directly and when I did, Ford marketing, told me they are a customer-facing department and they cannot change address on the PCO and instructed me to go back to the dealer. They further added it should be as easy as the dealer calling their Business Assistance hotline or their regional representative from Ford and changing the address in the system. Upon instructing the dealer on the matter, they got back to me and said they looked into it couldn't change the address.

I understand each dealer stands on their own and is up to them to honor PCOs however does anyone have any suggestions on what my next steps should be? Number 1, I've never used the incorrect address as a residence so I'm feeling like there's some shenanigans going on to lure me in. Number two, the 2k PCO will make or break my deal, as I am already stretching my budget enough as it is. Any assistance would be welcome.

The dealer can still submit it and let Ford deny it. The issue is if they give you the $2k and Ford denies it the dealer will then send you a bill. Sales should be calling Ford to get this fixed. I have had this happen before.

Yes. Sales wanted to deny my almost $5k in incentives with my old ICE F-150. I told them to submit it anyways. About 1 week later they called and said Ford approved the PCO.

good to know! I may have to go outside of this dealer to another one nearby that has 3 of the same truck and see if they'll be more willing to play ball. Thanks!

If you are truly in the position of this is a deal breaker, I would tell the dealer that you will not proceed if they cant make good on the PCO. Be ready to either walk away or pull the trigger based on the dealers response.
Another thing is to make sure the PCO is applied before all fees and taxes. I have had a dealer try to add extra offers in as a form of down payment which is post tax.

I'm at my wits end. Neither several dealers nor Ford marketing have the ability to help me change the address on the darned private cash offer. Will no one go above and beyond to hear/listen to a customer's situation these days? I feel like I'm falling into a lil bit of a bait and switch and no one wants to help me. /Rant over

Just walk out and let them keep the truck. Have Ford Marketing change your address and send you a new PCO.

Can’t you just purchase using your old work address to have the pco go thru?

They won't honor it. I haven't worked at that address for over 10 years and I don't have any documentation tying me to it. I never used it as a residence.

The dealer should request an exception with C&I when submitting the deal to Ford. They will need a court if a bill at your current address.
