Forscan trailer control help please

Hey guys.
I installed my new Ford OEM Trailer Control Module today. I went through the Forscan sheet and got it all programmed but the gain control is not working. cold there be something I missed?
Trailer is recognized, lights, turn signal and brakes are working. Trailer battery is charging to.

What changes did you make it forscan, that may help narrow it down.

Check out adding IPC module line 720-05-02 along with your previous change above. I think the old ‘20 required two lines, one enabled the tbc and one enabled the “gain function”.

I am unsure of what “transmission state” is, so I would keep that the same as you have now (i.e. select the value that will enable TB and keep your TS as 1 or 2 or whatever it is now).

edit: also in the APIM module is the line below, that may give more TB options on the center screen. I’ll look at mine tomorrow and see what’s there.

Got it to work. The changes didn't stick for some reason. But qfter the 20th+ time it worked. Im sure it was my fault somehow.
Pulled my 30 foot TT up a grade with no issues!!

I see the above settings you used but some differ on my truck. Which exact settings did you change to get yours to work? Also when you press +/- button on the controller without a trailer will something appear on the dash? I can't get mine figured out. Thanks

You need to take what you have and only mess with the x marked bits on the spreadsheet. If it works you will get an error message on the cluster saying no trailer detected if you move the slider bar. It is a pain until you get that eureka moment.
