Free 250kWh question

I'm new to all of this my truck is being delivered tomorrow used 23 lariat from dealer. Is this something that I might have assigned to my truck when it arrives? I'm not sure if I understand what this even is but it sounds like free charging credits at specific sites or vendors(apologize for not using the proper terms yet)

If the previous owner used it, I doubt it. But you just need to wait until you have it, do all the activations and see what happens. Otherwise we're all just speculating. You'll know soon enough.

The free 250kWh must be used via Plug N Charge through Blue Oval Network. I'm curious to know if they would work charging at a Tesla station since Tesla passes through BON the same way EA does. I might see if that works once I get my adapter. I still have 160kWh of free credits. Yeah, in over a year of owning the truck, I haven't used them up. Took forever to get Plug N Charge working and then when I've been on any meaningful road trips, I've used the EA Pass+ via their app for cheaper rates. So I've only tapped those free hours once.

Correction to your post.
Many of us have EA Pass+, but your free 160kwh that you have left are free to you, which means when you plug at EA station without using your membership, you still going to get 160kwh for free. Ford compensates EA for your remaining balance of unused KW in your account.
As soon as you spend your balance, then Ford will bill you at the rate of a non member of EA. So, use EA chargers but be mindful when your free KW expire. Also, Ford will send you receipts of every charge you initiated with EA that they have paid for the KW used/charged and remind you of the remaining balance. Those 250KW are not free for ever. There is a time limit to use them. Be mindful of this.
