Front plates not installed

29 States and DC require front plates. Part of me resists this, but part of me (That part that deals in a variety of flaw enforcement issues) thinks they should be required on all cars in the US.
With that said, the plate holder that Ford provided requires drilling holes in my brand new front bumper. We ended up getting this holder: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CCH8SV94/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 which requires no damage to the bumper. Expensive, but it appeals to my vanity.

I looked at that one, but I thought it would block the active vents a bit plus I needed to keep my truck's length as short as possible to fit in my garage even after modifications to the garage.
