Lightning already has this. It’s called Propulsion Sound, but I believe only available on Platinum. It simulates a gas engine noise.

It’s on by default and i spent the first hour of my drive home after pickup trying to figure out what the hell i was hearing. Once I found the setting I was in love with the quiet. Fake noises either inside the cabin or out just don’t make sense to me.
If I'm not mistaken the propulsion sounds on the platinum are only played inside the vehicle, not outside.

I don't want a fake exhaust noise, but they should give a few options for the low speed pedestrian sound. I vote for the Jetsons car noises.

Fellas, this might be the same noise I heard when I first bought my truck. I popped the interior panels off each end of the dash (the flat panels on each side of the dash). The Clip on top was popping when flexing. Simply removing them helped them, but I did wrap electrical tape around the top clip and put it back on to act as a cushion, and it hasn't popped since AND I HEAR EVERYTHING, so I have been eliminating most noises I can :)

I think I have the same issue. And haven't had the time to ride passenger to diagnose. It definitely sounds like two pieces of trim rubbing slightly, and likely wouldn't be noticeable in an ICE. It's the only downside to the amazingly quiet ride so far, IMO.
Did you ever determine if you have the creaking dashboard issue. I still have the issue, and with my vehicle going in on 3 separate recalls, I will ask them to look into it.

I haven't - I played around a little bit and haven't fixed it. I shove a piece of cardboard in between the door and the trim piece for now and it stops it. Haven't taken it in yet but plan to have them look at it when I go to get my heated steering wheel module activated.

I had a similar issue on my truck when I first got it. Solved it by removing the bronze trim and using a piece of microfiber cloth to wrap the retention clips and popped it back in. Took a couple adjustments and trial and error, but once I got it quieted down, it never came back.
