No issues with my new 24 Flash. I bought it from a dealer in Topeka that seemed clueless about EVs - not planning to go back there if I need service.

I’m in the KC area and I’ve had good luck with Bob Allen Ford with my ICEs, but don’t have any idea if they’re good with EVs.

Anybody have recommendations on Ford Dealers in the KC area with good EV Techs?

I also have a new 24 Flash. Bought mine from Louisburg Ford and they have been excellent with regular ICE vehicles. No clue about good EV techs but they are my favorite KC area Ford dealer.

If you find a Ford dealer with even decent EV service, let me know. None in CA that I have experienced. None in Southern Oregon either. Bought mine in Los Angeles.
By far, the worst treatment I have received just trying to keep the warranty happy. I can’t get 10k mile services. I’ve been unable to get three of the six 10,000 mile check ups. My tires go Twenty plus thousand miles between rotations. Of course I can go to the tire store. I do.
67,000 miles today. No way I can get a Ford dealer to “Fit me in,” for a pre-trip check up.
Don’t get me started about parts and update availability. It’s like I bought a foreign super car. Except for the reception I get at the dealer. That is opposite of what I sense when I walk in. Eyes roll.

The notification of the recall on the Upper Control Arm Ball Joint Nut Replacement popped up for me today. It says they’ll notify me when parts are available.

I’ll need to find that good KC area EV Dealer Service sooner than later.

I had my 2022 Lightning serviced at Olathe Ford a few times. They replaced the wiper motors and the rear tailgate light bar (twice! 2nd one also cracked.) No complaints and plan to take my new Lightning there for maintenance in the future.

I ended up going with Bob Allen Ford on Metcalf Ave. for the upper control arm ball joint nut recall and warranty replacement of the tail light. Service was good enough that I’ll be talking my lightning there for any needed service.

I called one other dealer, which was located close to work, and they were scheduling 3 weeks out. I asked how many EV techs they had - they said only 1 EV tech at their dealership.

When I called Bob Allen Ford they reported having an EV tech in each of their departments. They had availability next day. They had to order the tail light; when it came in yesterday they were able to schedule next day. I waited today - It took about 45 minutes from
to swap the sensor, install the new tail light, do the paperwork and run it through their car wash. Overall it was a decent experience.
