Great Deals on 2024 Lightnings

Earlier this month we leased a 2024 Platinum Lightning from Sarasota Ford. They currently have 18 NEW 2024 Lightnings in stock, 13 of them are Platinum's. that it seems they bought from the replenishment centers. They are one of the few Ford Dealers that I found who don't shy away from EV Sales.

We got over $25,000 off with rebates, incentives and X-Plan discount. I don't know if the rebates and incentives are still valid. Plus the lease money factor rate was 0.04% (essentially zero %)

If you qualify for X-Plan or the deals are too good to pass up. Currently they still have ZERO percent financing on both sales and 0.04% on leases. We used Austin McLaughlin as our sales rep. He was low pressure and he is one of the sales reps that leased one for himself. He and his brother Logan work as team. I believe that Logan also owns a Lightning.

[Timeless Epoch]

I was going to wait for the next generation of battery before dipping my feet into the EV pool, but the deals were just too good to pass. Really happy with the truck and glad I didn't wait.

My dealer had 12 on the lot, which came in handy when they tried to low ball my trade. "Look, my truck is paid off and I don't really need to to do this. You have 12 of last year's trucks on your lot."

EV prices have “fluctuated” all over the place in the last 2-1/2 years due to Tesla changing their prices. I bought my 2023 Model Y 1December 2022. My wife bought hers 3 months later for $20,000 less. I didn’t giggle but my wife is still belly laughing.

This is how we ended up with our Lightning. We have a Mach-e and I have been driving the Lariat PowerBoost in my profile pic. Driving my wife's Mach-e spoiled me so much that every time I drove the PowerBoost, which is no slouch in the on-paper power numbers, still felt like such a boat. I don't do full throttle runs or anything, but even just regular leaving from a traffic light you felt every gear shift and delay like it went on forever compared to the Mach-e.

I heard about the rebates on the Platinum Lightning's especially and reached out to my sales person. He said because of the deals they were becoming impossible to find, and every other dealer I reached out to that showed a bunch of Plats in stock told me they were already spoken for.

His team found the one I got through I suspect the program you mentioned, the replacement centers, as my order information shows it was ordered by the Model E group, not by any specific dealer. I didn't want white, but for the price I leased this thing I am learning to love it. I even got the extras I would have ordered like power running boards and spray in bed liner.

In the end, I am paying less than I was for my PB Lariat and that's before factoring in almost $100/mo in savings not having to buy gas. I work for Ford and when I go into the office they have a bunch of L2 chargers so I have just been charging when at the office.

Loving the truck, and it's been exactly what I hoped for, none of the lag but still an F-150.
