Has anyone installed a heated steering wheel on a pro?

Just wanted to clarify here too, you can have HSW on a pro with control via the 12" display without needing a new HVAC module but bear in mind it impacts the appearance of your menu/UI

source: I have HC seats, and HSW running off of stock pro HVAC controlled via synch UI

You can have it without changing the UI also, mine just comes on automatically (so I can't manually turn it on or off, but it hasn't been an issue so far).

interesting, mine i have set so it can come on with remote start/precondition based on outside temp. but i still have full control to turn it on or off via the synch screen.

and yes you are forced into the UI change but you get used to it. I have seen some reports of a guy getting a ICE module to work but haven't confirmed the part no he used, but im honestly fine enough with onscreen and no extra cost i already fought with the older HVAC module with the little lcd displays unsuccessfully

also assuming that you just used two of the terminal wires from the WT1030 kit instead of the more expensive pre-built WPT404 pigtail?

As I remember I bought the pigtail. Not to say you couldn't do it using the terminal wires though, I just don't remember it being very expensive when I ordered it
