I ordered 8/11/23 just got called and told my order was balanced out. Offered to put me in priority line for a MY 24 Pro at the same price. Declined because I found a new XLT for 50,450 from a dealer in KY. Went for it should be taking delivery Monday.

I ended up canceling mine(glad I did as it might not have been built). Picked up an SR Lariat with 10k off sticker plus the tax credit. Glad I jumped when I did now that the rebate is gone.

I ordered my Pro on 8/9/23. Not yet scheduled for production.
It was never scheduled for production. I was able to buy a grey SR Pro from dealer stock on 11/27/23. Paid MSRP, had the 9.6 kW power package that I wanted. I'm happy.

along the lines of your original question, I received one of the original emails to 'order' back in January of 2022.
I immediately ordered exactly what I had planned to: PRO, with Max Tow, Tow Tech, and ProPower.

I did not hear about any 'build date' for many months.

They EVENTUALLY started trickling in. Then, the reports of the 'few' PROs that would be built would hinder many down the line from being able to order one, and quickly after that not even an XLT.

When I finally heard my 'build date', originally for MAY, I got overly excited and immediately sold not only my Nissan LEAF, but my only other 'gas' vehicle, my Ford FOCUS.(both for more than I had paid for them several years before, and after MANY miles of usage on both...crazy times)..

this left me with no vehicle of my own, while my wife drove our only vehicle left to work each day.

UGH, here's where the story goes left: got an email that my 'May' build date had been rescheduled, maybe two weeks later. Then another the next week for another 'MONTH' later. This happened no less than 7 times, for a final 'reschedule' of TWO FULL MONTHS, and then, of course, the 'hurry up and wait' while the vehicle is 'shipped'... on a SLOW train, of course.

I finally received it on August 23, 2022, and did NOT let it out of my sight while it was unloaded off the truck( the LAST vehicle, of course !), and while it was 'inspected' by the dealer employee, who I had to 'lure' into staying late to get it done, otherwise they wanted to 'keep' it overnight since it was so late in the day ... NOT GONNA HAPPEN, JACK!!!! A $100 Bill convinced them to 'go ahead' ...

Don't give up on your PRO. It is WORTH it. Patience is hard. You WILL be rewarded.

(I didn't tell you the most important lesson I learned, here. I didn't want to dissuade you. The dealership got their own LARIAT in stock BEFORE my PRO arrived, several months later. The salesman called me - he knew I was eager, and wanted to see if I wanted to test drive the Lariat - I waited for my wife to arrive home and hurried over. He might not have liked that I 'gunned' the LIGHTNING right out of the driveway, but I HAD to explore the 'power' of this new beast. I did not disappoint. Here's where my story is important: I was SO caught up in the moment, and SO dissalusioned that my PRO was not to arrive for several more months, that I MADE AN OFFER to the dealership THAT DAY to drive THAT LARIAT home, instead. That truck would have been TWICE the price of my own ordered PRO. Here's where the story ends, positively: the dealer would NOT sell me the Lariat. Their excuse? Well, because Ford had put in place a strict 'Mannequin' requirement, where stock LIGHTNINGS could not yet be sold if another was not in stock, or at least 'on the way' to the dealer. My offer was declined. BUT, in the end, I realize that my lack of patience that day, and the dealers declining my offer, was something that wound up being a blessing in disguise. I went home somewhat dejected, but slowly started to realize that I did not NEED a Lariat, did not NEED to pay twice for something, and did not even WANT a 'bright blue' truck, nor leather interior, nor a massive Glass roof, or even an extended range Battery. I really wanted only what I had originally wanted: A nice PRO. And, it has served me well. Two more months of 'waiting' did not inhibit my eventual realization that sometimes we get a little 'spoiled' in what we want - life is plenty long enough for a LOT MORE waiting than even we think we have in us.)

... oh, did I mention?
The day the PRO finally arrived, I had to RIDE MY BIKE, yes, my BICYCLE!, across town 5 miles, thru traffic, to my dealer... a grown MAN, riding a bike.... CRAZY!!!!
