Is this Normal? Mach-E on Sync

Has anyone else had this issue? Hopped in the truck after work and suddenly the symbol on the top left of the Sync screen is a Mach-E. I still have the same sync version and Pro Power version (and yes, I know it’s an old version. Sore subject).

just wondering if it’s normal or has happened to anyone else.

Ha, yes this happened to me after an update, I forget which one, it reverted back to the lightning after a short while (maybe after turning off and back on?). There's a UI update you should get at some point and that image goes away.

Well, yea that’s my main concern. Wondering if this is linked or maybe a sign that some sort of updating is happening.

You just got an OTA update. Yours is a bit further behind so this is the same update that caused this to happen for others a few months ago

You should.....but that doesn't mean it always happens

Most of them, yes. Both the truck and the FordPass app will notify you. I seem to recall being surprised by this one (referring to whatever updated and changed the image as a bug) and not seeing an update notification. You can always check the update page and it will tell you the most recent (numbered) update. This particular one may have been a download that unintentionally reset the image. I'd expect a bigger update for you coming soon.
