JerryRigEverything is a popular YouTuber for doing destructive durability testing of cellphones. Every so often he will post EV truck videos. His audience is the general public who may not be aware of EVs or just knows he owns some and don't understand why. This video he does an 18,000 mile review click bait video to educate his audience on the benefits of EVs.
JerryRigEverything - "3 Things I HATE about my Ford Lightning after 18,000 miles"
Explains the Lightning is a great truck. Minor gripes of 1) chrome glare, 2) OTA loosing user setting ngs, 3) infotainment UI isn't great.
He goes into quite a bit of benefits The cost vs gas. In Utah with $0.10 it's cheaper to fill than gas. He took the cost analysis more toward the work productivity cost. He went into detail for an ICE truck of the cost to productivity of a worker going to get gas, the cost of the vehicle out of service for oil or transmission fluid changes, etc. He mentions the use case of 300+ daily miles, and/or heavy towing over 100 miles would be better for ICE.
He discussed the battery warranty as a pro and the longevity of EV batteries.
Throughout the video he shows driving the truck in the desert in Utah. He tows a Tesla. Overall shows it's driven in rugged conditions.
Ends in summary with the Lightning being a great work truck.
