Hi guys first post here. Just gonna post my journey so somebody can use it as reference in the future.
The first step I did was getting a 2 inch rough country suspension level. The truck came out real nice with it. I got the package with the n3 struts and v2 rear monotube shocks. Definitely fixed my issues with the sloppy stock suspension and leveled everything out perfectly. :
I then got some Method NV 305s with some Ridge Grappler 305/70r17s. Stance on the truck was mean as hell but I ended up having rear crash bar rub at certain anglesSo my options were spreading the crash bars, cutting a couple inches off, replacing my whole suspension again, or replacing the tires at the shop :
I ended up going with the path of least resistance and got some 285/70/r17 BFGOODRICH KO2s. I’m really happy with them so far. Time to enjoy the truck. Having tried both tires back to back the BFG are MUCH better for day to day driving. :
