Lariat grill vinyl mod (tremor-like)

I did 3M “Gloss liquid copper” vinyl (some one on here turned me on to the color, but can’t remember who it was) on the front grill. I tried a few different colors, but this one looked the best as it blends in to the parking lights. The Tremor orange is a bit too Tennessee for me, and my Clemson orange made it look too Harley or Halloweenee.

I tried doing it on the truck, but was never satisfied; so I disassembled the grill. I wanted the wrap to go all the way around the middle bar instead of just a front stripe like the Tremor. I plan to do the chrome on the power running boards next, but plan on a dark gray to match the sport wheels.

Nice work! That opens a lot of options for sure.
Nice to know that piece comes off. Allows for some nice painting options as well.
I have "heard" you can simply pull the chrome trim pieces off of the power steps.

Was the trim piece hard to remove? I'm digging the look of that!

It wasn’t hard, but took some time. You have to remove the grille to get them off.
I had to remove the grille once before to put on the black badge, so it wasn’t my first time.

A person good with vinyl probably could do it great without removing the pieces
