I figured there are a few data geeks and I'd thought I'd toss in my December-early February log of miles, miles/kWh, and kWh burned. The red dashed lines are Excel trend lines. I roll about 2K miles a month and this represents about 7,000 miles of my winter commute with occasional longer trips. The weather is typical PNW coastal with early mornings and evenings in that mid 30's to mid 40's. With March coming in that is rising to high 40's low 50's and soon by late April it'll be 50's-60's. With rare exeption I'm using seat heat at 2 and steering wheel heat at 1 and cabin heat auto 1 bar occassionally to knock the window fogging. My speed is variable but 45-58 dpending on conditions. 45 for the twisties and 58 to avoid the weekend warriors and log trucks. If I'm it on the road (typical in morning) I'll cruise at 53 mph to avoid deer and elk or suprises (downed trees and limbs as well a small slumps, land slides). Based on the trucks kWh estimates, this data is dead on winter at 2.3 miles per kWh and I expect spring, summer, fall to be at 2.4-2.5 mi/kWh as an average. Possibly 2.5 in June-July-August.
Just turned over 40K miles since August of '23 and I'll post some images of my Hankooks with worn shoulders but decent center tread.
Have fun geekizoids.
