List: F-150 Lightning dealers that do / don't apply ADM (price markup)

Just spoke with my dealer, Porter Ford in Newark DE, $5,000 ADM. They told me Ford is forcing them to do it, even the sales manager has to pay it and if I try to switch dealers I lose my spot in line. They have 25 allocations and I’m 1 of them. Any dealers in the area willing to sell at MSRP? I’m not happy with Ford.

Ford is not forcing them to charge ADM. I would find a a new dealer. At least they told you now.

The dealer is known to do shady work. I’ve already emailed 8 somewhat local dealers in surrounding states, every dealer seems to be full. I guess my early reservation number doesn’t matter and there’s no way for me to get a lightning in 2022? Really disappointing from Ford.

Fox Ford in Chicago, Illinois stated via email that they would not up-charge reservations holders above MSRP. I know this is not binding but a start nonetheless. They did acknowledge that any Lightning inventory they get with no assigned customer (ones without a held-reservation) could/would be subject to an ADM, however, which I think is not-unfair.

All American Ford Paramus is now at a $5000 ADM. These dealers are getting out of hand.

I too have a cyber truck on order, I really wanted the lightning but looks like I’m canceling my order (or flipping it) and will keep my Model Y and cyber truck, ford dealers are blowing it.

I'm a Sales consultant with Preferred Ford in Grand Haven, MI. We will be selling all Lightnings for MSRP without dealer fluff! There is a Doc Fee, currently $230 but this has gone up $10 annually the past 5 years I've been here, so I anticipate this will be $240 next year.

If you're looking to swap reservations to me I ask that you call/text first so I can enter you in the system first to ensure your reservation makes it to me!

Thanks Ducky! Will be calling you next week and moving my reservation from the east side of the state to the west. A 2.5 hour drive beats the hell out of paying "market adjustments."

Not only a 2.5 hr drive, but a one way 2.5 hr flight is also cheaper than the ADMs .... Everybody should change dealers if their dealers are asking for ADM, IMPO.

I’ve been trying to change but that puts me at the back of the line with any new dealer. So I either pay the 5k ADM and take delivery summer 2022 or pay msrp and wait until most likely 2024.

Some dealers have been saying that, but with the wave system ford will email you when your turn is up. I don’t think the dealer will be able to deny you ordering. Maybe they can submit yours at the back end of the wave but I doubt they can just push you back 6 waves.

Sarchione Ford Lincoln in Alliance, OH WILL NOT charge ADM on orders. Stock units may have ADM based on market demand. Amedeo Marino is my contact at the dealership. He handles all of the orders.

There is a $250 doc fee, the dealer will honor A,D,X,Z plans on orders only. They will be requiring a $500 deposit which I believe is refundable.

I don't know if there's a thread on this, but I think this is a good idea to have a list of dealers that do or don't do ADM. This is for the F-150 Lightning, if you couldn't figure this out already (because you're in the F-150 Lightning subforum).

Just moved mine this morning and Ford Marketing absolutely told me that I would not lose my place in line while also telling me that the $100 reservation would be refunded due to the move.
