Make the truck shut up already

Yes, and that's how I was able to fix it. But still took a while to figure out the magic spells. Had the same problem with my wife's car. But the challenge at first is to figure out what's triggering the chime. I don't understand why the vendors insist on starting a full volume. Why not put it in the middle and then make an obvious setting to raise or lower as desired?

I'd simply like to be able to disable the beeping sound when opening/closing the Frunk...anyone know if that's an option? I couldn't find it.

I too would love to be able to open the frunk without announcing to the neighbors - or everyone in the hotel/campground, as has been the case this week - that I'm going for my toothpaste. I agree with those who've noted that the frunk ajar chime is to protect Ford from litigious folk who will drive off with it open and then blame someone else for their error when they wreck the truck. But I can't figure why it needs to delay the opening for a few seconds and screech at everyone around that it's about to open. It auto-reverses when it encounters an obstacle, so why does the truck need to alert before opening when sitting still? Any thoughts?

If there was a MotorTrend 'Annoying sounds constantly played at high volume' award Ford would be the reigning "back-to-back-to-no other company has actually come close to beating them in the history of the award" champion.

I'll bring this up at our next editorial meeting. Our Lightnings would be a shoe-in for the award.
