I was in Berlin last week and saw this pulling into a parking space. It's a German-distributed, Chinese-made all-electric pickup about the size of the Toyota Tacoma.

Battery is an 89 kWh LFP.
Cost is high at 65,000 Euros (~$72k), especially for the capabilities.

That said, I would love to see an AWD version EV pickup this size for sale in the US.

I think I remember reading up on these a long time ago. For pure street driving they're good. But I think because of the wonky sizing of things, there's a differential that's only a few inches off the ground. The marketing pictures try to hide or downplay this. So any off road driving gets pretty sketchy, pretty quick.

That being said, they'd suit a great deal of drivers, and I know a lot of people want a smaller lighter truck. Which is why I can't wait to see these guys make it to production: https://www.telotrucks.com/

The rear differential on the one I saw certainly wasn't Jeep-levels off the ground, but it wasn't an exceptionally low differential.

I think I saw something similar quite often while my fiancé and I did a road trip around England in May. I believe they also do contractor vans?

If the Telo were available when we were truck shopping, it would have been our top pick. I hope they succeed. Even though I love the Lightning, I would seriously consider replacing it with a Telo.
