Is it saying this is how much life the battery has left? Mine is at 96%. Any cause for concern? Thanks

No, this is the percentage of maximum energy stored on the 12v battery.
Yours looks great, but don't be alarmed if you see variations day to day..

Should I be concerned? My LVB IS AT 36%. I usually drive more, but with school and soccer on break, (and the fact that I work from home) I have not been driving everyday. I thought the HVB would charge the LVB when it fell to 40%?

Yes, it should have brought the charge up.

I looked at the outstanding recalls & CSP's report for your VIN, nothing appears to be out of order, assuming you didn't have a defective LVB BMS or had it replaced.

If you can park / lock the truck in a safe area and leave it running for a couple hours with the 30 minute automatic shut down switched off, you should be able to bring up the SOC.

Sure. I have a trickle charger too. I think the dealer must have done the CSP before I picked it up in March as I first noticed it in my account, but it disappeared after a couple weeks. Thanks, I will have to schedule service at the dealer if it can’t maintain the voltage correctly, I guess.

I started it up and. It is climbing fairly quickly, which is good. Quick question, should the USB outlets remain powered when the truck is off? I purchased a MagSafe charger and plugged it into the usb-c in the cubby and noticed it would power my phone if the truck was off. Is this normal? I wonder if I am getting a decent amount of vampire drain on the 12v (though it should still recharge from the HVB). Thanks!

The Lightnings DC/DC inverters are pretty strong compared to a trickle charger, let it run for 2-3 hours then resume your daily routines and leave accessories unplugged until needed. There is an alert for excessive 12v drains, early in the roll out several folks got them, I think and OTA came out which may have modified the trigger point for the alert.

I'm not certain with the Lightning, I learned a severe lesson on my old 2012 F250, at the time I had a TomTom GPS which I had left plugged into the 12v cig lighter, which had perpetual power, that 12v to 5v step down drained my 2 x 12v batteries over the course of a hot & dry month of August in 2013, at this time I was taking the Harley to work every day and the truck literally sat in the garage for a month with the GPS plugged in, my batteries were depleted enough that the truck would not start (Power Stroke diesel).

I had to lift the rear axle by the pumpkin and drag it out of my very tight fitting garage just to lift the hood and connect jump cables to recharge the battery enough to turn over the engine. Luckily that pair of batteries were not damaged (less than a year since custom build and delivery), I got it fully charge with a long 3+ hour drive.

Since that experience, I never leave accessories plugged in!!!

May do the same. I leave the OBD Bluetooth LE plugged into the OBD port and the phone charger has been plugged in since yesterday. I had no idea it would drain so fast. I saw it at 40% then a couple hours later it dipped to 36%. I have left the OBD scanner in all the time and have never seen it drop that fast. So it must be the MagSafe charger (probably the coil for induction charging is a good draw even when no load is connected). I’ll start pulling that usb when I exit the truck. Just surprised it didn’t kick on and charge the LV on its own. Glad I keep an eye on the LV battery or I would have been in for a bad surprise next time I needed to go somewhere. Thanks for your help!
