- 2022 F150 Lightning Lariat ER
We purchased our '22 Lariat ER with all options in June of '23. It had 8k miles and was driven by the owner. I believe it was in the FCTP program as the warranty and subscriptions had started about 6 months prior. It was MO dealer and we titled it in MT. I made sure it had an MSO and that it wasn't considered used. We were able to claim the full 7,500 tax credit.
Luckily they let me take it home for the night before we finalized the deal the next day. I discovered that all the connected services had started and the free charging credits wouldn't transfer. I got the dealer to agree that they would compensate us for the missing subscriptions if Ford didn't agree to extend them. That figure was right at 1k. It took many months but the manager finally got Ford to extend all of our connected services including BlueCruise. Actually worked out in our favor as the Bluecruise and Connected NAV match the Mannequin (demo) extended warranty. For some reason Alexa expires three months earlier.
We paid $76,500 not including the tax credit. At the time that was a great deal. Little did I know.
When we bought it Carscanner showed 97.5% HVB state of health. That hasn't changed after 17 months. If I was looking to buy a '22 demo today it would have to be one hell of a deal and I would insist on being able to use Carscanner on it before the purchase.
