I think folks meant to say that the LR (extended battery) is available on Pro trim but is only allowed for Fleet Owners. Retail can only the the regular SR (short range) version. Youd have to get XLT trim and up in the retail realm to get the extended battery.

No power adjustment.
Also no height adjustment.

It will however be way cheaper to buy some seats out of a junkyard f150 or recover the seats than step up to the XLT just to get cloth/power seats.

It looks like the bed is already lined and not bare metal. Is that standard these days for the new F150s?

I wonder if they'd allow me to swap out my current XLT 6 way power cloth seats for the Pro's seats during trade in. :D

Even in the Raptor and on the Limited trim, it's an option.

I don't know if it's because Ford is greedy, or if it's to eke out that last tiny percentage of MPG for CAFE numbers.

I do know that even if it's not factory ordered, pretty much every truck will get it as a dealer add-on unless it's a work truck.

I work with a lot of plate steel and sheet metal, so I hate bedliners, even my last truck with the hard plastic tray would catch the edge of a sheet and get stuck. The spray in ones are even worse, when you're tugging on a 100lb piece of metal with a razor sharp edge and the static friction gives way to sliding friction, it's not desirable.

Still, I'm surprised that it's not standard to include bedliner in the higher trims like Platinum and Limited.

Every EV has a 12-volt battery to power the dash displays and accessories. It's far easier, from an integration standpoint, to add a 12v battery than "break into" the power train high voltage battery.
Hmm, they have to keep that 12v battery charged so are they going to add an electric motor to spin a 12v alternator or step down the voltage as already mentioned.

I'm a mechanic by trade so these are the questions I need to know the answers to.

Don’t think so, but if that’s the case for the Lightning, I’m here for it.

My dealer says it is an extra $595 for Ford to spray the bed liner. However, the dealer said they have found adding this extra tends to delay shipment of the truck. My dealer worked out a deal with a local bed liner company to match the price and provide a lifetime warranty on it. So I will have the Lightning delivered and have the bed sprayed when it arrives.

There will be a DC2DC converter that will transform the high voltage down to 12 V to keep the battery charged. What you will find important as a mechanic is that all EVs will have two sources of 12 V power. If you want to work on these vehicles and NOT get coolant all over your shop floor as I did is to make sure you disable both!

There's a converter in the system somewhere to keep the 12 volt battery charged. Look up a mustang mach-e teardown by Sandy Munro and I'm sure they show or talk about it somewhere.

Maybe like a DC to DC converter mentioned above? ;)
