One of my favorite mods, 3D lettering

I noticed some new tundras and rams with 3d raised large lettering inserts on the tailgate. I liked that and I found a similar 3d raised lettering to add to my vehicle.

Note, this isn't like the vinyl sticker. This is matte black unpainted 3d lettering. I'm not sure how it looks on non-black cars. I liked the off black and piano black contrast it gave mine, even though most won't notice it.

The image here doesn't do it justice, but I'd recommend getting this for sure, especially the black against the black. It cost about $20 and came preinstalled with the adhesive. It was tricky finding the right one on ebay by filtering through all the sponsored listings, but I'm sure it's still on there.

Mine's been on for a few months without issues.

It's injection molded plastic, so the finish is smooth. Pretty sure if someone wanted a similar color match contrast, they could spray can paint it and it would stick to the surface without sanding.

I see that there are glossy and some other versions now.
