OTA updates notification in FordPass APP

I have received my third Ford OTA update - but noticed, I am not getting notified in my Ford IOS app of the update or completion. Now on my Android Phone - the update shows completed - but not on my IOS Phone. I had to delete my IOS APP and reinstall it for the update to show as an alert. Is this type of "issue" normal. My IOS phone is my primary cell.

You must be new here....

Yes, it is a common issue that FordPass doesn't do, well, most things, consistently.

My Android app has never notified me, i.e. a true notification.

Almost all notifications on iOS are 48 hours behind. You aren't doing anything wrong, it is just how Ford's software works. They are working on a new version of the app, but I'm not expecting much improvement.

It's not. I don't think they took any of the feedback given by Beta Users........ it's a shame.

Appreciate the info - very helpful - I am not "new" - almost six months in with the Lightning and have noticed this issue. This confirms..

I do hope that Ford listens to the feedback soon
