Paint chip on front grill (Platinum)

Hi guys,

With Canadian winters I’ve noticed a bunch of small rock chips on the grill paint (platinum grill). Anybody else experienced that? Did you fix it with touch up paint or any other solutions to resolve that issue?

Some apply PPF. Others have it repainted. It’s unfortunately a giant rock magnet posted front and center on the truck. A couple folks line-x’ed it with good results

Yes we Line-Xed the front grill when we did our Line-X bedliner. Turned out really tough looking and will keep our grill rock chip free.

Mine is also a Platinum, only has 10k miles on it, rarely sees the highway, and has the exact same issue. Little pockmarks all over it. The Line-X is a good idea, might consider that.

I went with PPF (gloss black) looks great. Did the lower to match.

My body shop guy convinced me I wouldn't be happy with paint. I'd be interested in PPF but haven't seen a photo of it yet.
