To put it plainly I’m absolutely pleased with my vehicle’s performance in the rather heavy snow and ice that we have had here in central Arkansas. While I knew the truck was 4wd or awd, i had not really thought about how the deeper snow would make the vehicle behave.

Observstions driving during heavy accumulation:

good, very easy to handle. You are more worried about all the other drivers. Gentle acceleration and decel work best but no issues climbing hills or slowing down quickly when needed.

Observations after heavy snowfall with increased coverage:

still very good. I believe the weight keeps its much more stable than even an ice.

general observations:
Very practical and manageable. Blue cruise wouldn’t engage at all, don’t know why anyone would want that. The cameras did ok in all aspects. After a lot of heavy coverage I had to clean the front camera.

lastly the state of charge which I’m sure is just as important as confidence with the four wheel drive. No real change. I average about 2.2 historically so I’ve been about 1.6-2.2 depending on the terrain in this weather even with climate. Also only use the normal mode, it is more than enough.

Yup central Illinois here. 6 to 8 inches. Truck handled it and the ice with no problem. This truck is the total package. Does it all and looks great.

When driving on ice, I am generally more worried about all the other idiots. 🤣

BlueCruise 1.0 does not engage because it would be bouncing off the ditches on either side of the road.

Just outside of St. Louis and we recieved about 13”, drove great, point it and go. I’m still on the Genreal Grabber Tires and they did fine. Later in the week when we picked up 3” and it was slushier the tires slipped more than they had earlier in the week but still did ok.

Although as slush builds up on the front bumper I think I received all the sensor errors one can get.

I will admit driving around with the snow/ice build up on the hood, until it warmed up enough that I could remove the snow/ice was a bit concerning.
