First thing I plan to modify is that old looking radio antenna. Does anyone know if current aftermarket stubby antennas will work? Is it the same size thread on 2021 models as the 2015-2020 models?
Yes I've been using stubby antennas on all my fords for years they work great.

I bought the same one..
Seems fine, won't know how it does when it's far enough away from local stations to see how strong the signal is..
Reviews are great..

I hope that is the case for when I can finally put mine on.

How many have an unlimited cellular plan.

No need to worry about antenna reception if you do.
Many parts of Texas you have no reception for cellular or radio..
Then I Bluetooth..
That always works..(y)

Yep. I stream probably 99% of the time. Heck, I’m not really even using the 3 month Sirius/XM free subscription.

Honest to God, I had no idea what SiriusXM was until I watched a video about 3 weeks ago by The Company Man.

My past 3 F150s I just took my dremmel and cut off a few inches and applied some black paint to the end of it. Cost nothing and no need to complicated things. I wanted it as tall as possible for reception but not hitting top of my garage opening.
I assume you've had no problems after snipping your antennae? I pulled into my garage for the first time tonight and it smacked the door, i was immediately like, hmm, i need to fix that.

3 years no problem at all, signal seemed to be exactly the same.

Great! My antenna is hitting stuff in my parking garage, I will trim it to the same height as my satellite antennas on back, use it as a cats whisker.

On my KR, the back of cab antennas are 77.6” tall; both by Ford spec and by my measurement.
I cut 9.5’“ off of my FM antenna, it is now 22-1/2” tall from base of the antenna itself to tip; it is now at the same height as the aft antennas.
If my FM antenna gets close to contacting any overhead structures, I will stop!
