I am mixed on the separate frame and isolated battery. I'm hoping it works out to the benefit of Ford Lightning owners.

- downside: proves not EV from ground up design, compromises on weight, passenger layout, etc.

- upside: more durability than needed, overbuilt, leveraging existing frame improves value and compatibility, better long-term support for shared parts, potentially easier to upgrade battery down the road?

Not using the battery as a frame also let's you swap out the bed for a custom module, as many commercial user do. Good decision in my opinion
