Seat Covers: Do they limit the seat heating and cooling?

Well there was no details about what was going on in the back seat with dogs. No idea if a blanket was left, dogs nails damage them. There are alot of details missing and no follow up.

This thread is probably worth a read to understand threats of using seat heaters and covers. Anything that limits the user's ability to feel heat poses a threat. I'm not saying don't use them but a conscientious operator understands potential threats.

I use my truck.
Some kind of seat protection is needed. I knew they would inhibit the cooling and heating function. They do...a little bit.
I know about the warnings too. I don't use the seat heater much. They do have "airbag" tags on them.
