Hi All,

Has anyone been driving in sport mode and it disengages and will not reengage unless you pull over and set it again?
This has happened to me twice in 3 days after start-up and driving down the road for like 10 minutes.
This has never happened before and the only thing recently done to the truck was update 6.2 and the battery module update.
Which, by the way, the update triggered the power train battery malfunction and caused me to need module 3 replaced.
I'm under the impression this is software-related for sure.
The good news is sport mode still works but is buggy at times now ugh!!

I have a '23 ER Lariat, and had the issue with Sport Mode disengaging while driving. Sometimes it would re-engage and sometimes it wouldn't. However, I got the 6.3 update a week or so ago, which seems to have addressed the problem -- AND it makes Sport Mode "sticky", so that the truck remains in Sport Mode after a power-off/on cycle (oddly enough, the pop-up asking me if I want to stay in sport mode still appears, but disappears before I can respond and the truck stays in Sport Mode).

I'm pretty confident that the BECM update did not cause your power train battery malfunction -- the battery module was probably already out of specification. I believe the BECM update is supposed to better detect and report battery module issues, and also supposed to leave your truck drivable if an issue is detected (my understanding is that the old BECM software would brick the truck without warning).
