Subwoofers installed (two 12 inch Kicker CWRT12s in an enclosed box under back seat)

I installed two 12 inch Kicker CWRT12s in an enclosed box under the back seat with a 1200 watt Kicker CXS1200 amp and a bass knob. Sounds great even with the stock speakers. I took out the stock sub. No effect on the battery consumption that I have noticed in the last week.

Thanks for the post; I'm interested in learning more. A 1200W amp would draw ~100A @ 12v at full load. Its my understanding that the DC-DC converter can only support about 50A total.

Are you able to monitor load/stress on the 12V battery health? I want to install an aftermarket amp but I'm concerned about the current draw and strain on the DC-DC converter.
