What's your source?Austin, TX is supposed to have some in a few weeks.
There are two fairly reliable EVgo 50kW city charger locations in Virginia Beach. One is near Trader Joe's and the other near a Target. You could charge at the EA in Newport News and use EVgo for range while in VB.I looked for a trip to Virginia Beach and the closest fast charger is in Newport News
Awesome! Thanks! There are two fairly reliable EVgo 50kW city charger locations in Virginia Beach. One is near Trader Joe's and the other near a Target. You could charge at the EA in Newport News and use EVgo for range while in VB.
Thereโs a 200kW EVGo charger at a Wawa in Norfolk. There are a few other 50kW chargers in the area too.I see a bunch of Tesla Destination chargers and Tesla has a map. They are usually free to use and there are adapters for the CCS ports I hope Tesla will open their chargers soon since it would address some of the range anxiety. Given the popularity of Tesla and Tesla's getting priority, I am not sure it will help much. More important would be rest stops and truck stops near highways to have fast chargers. In general, there are just not enough. I looked for a trip to Virginia Beach and the closest fast charger is in Newport News, a 40 minute drive. My town has one normal (none Tesla) charger
