Time from Bed Liner (Ground Effects) to Delivery

Hi all - my 2025 Lightning Flash was produced on Feb 10th and was received yesterday at Ground Effects for the bed liner I’m assuming.

Two questions:

1. How long does Ground Effects take to complete the installation?
2. Does it go back to the plant from Ground Effects or directly to delivery destination?

When I we were intensively monitoring production 2022/2023 they would be there 24/48 hours, then move to staging & holding lots awaiting transportation scheduling (train runs) take time.

How close to Dearborn are you located? Your truck will likely go by convoy run.

as taxman said depends if train or truck.

mine was a ’22 launch release. Baltimore (500 miles) Via truck - 22hrs with overnight stop and multiple drops along the way. Interestingly southern nj ( and maybe Delaware) went by train.

back then, many more of the guys(/girls) moving trucks around would accept the ford pass request on screen and ford pass reported real time reporting - so we could location updates.

it left at 8 or 9 pm on a Saturday.

I live in Canton, MI but will be picking it up from Ford WHQ, about a mile from Ground Effects

Seems like it says Sent offsite but is back at the Rouge? Kinda confused

As close as the dealership is, you'll get a call from the salesman BEFORE you see the {Public} tracker updated, looks like you have a helpful salesman giving your inside reports, that'll update the day they load the truck to a local convoy hauler.

Several members in the close to Dearborn had similar experiences

Unfortunately since this is a management lease no salesperson and limited updates. But does the car being back at the Rouge mean the bed liner was already installed?
