Tire issue or alignment -- Anyone else seeing this kind of wear?

We have a 2023 with 14,099 miles on it. We had the tires rotated and noticed this terrible wear pattern on the front tires. Picture taken on rear after rotation.

That has to be either severe cornering or under inflation. Although the wear pattern would seem to indicate incorrect toe-in alignment. This same pattern is present on both front tires?

Yes, both front tires.

We do drive on a fair amount of winding roads, but not 2x over the yellow recommended speeds.
That's for motorcycling.

It does look like incorrect toe-in alignment. I would not put thoes tires on my truck. I would go back to Ford service center and ask for at least two new front tires (free) to replace the ones that were damaged by Fords bad alignment at purchase.
Even though tires are not covered under general warranty, I think this request would be reasonable provided you kept proper inflation and rotated per Ford recomendation. You may need to provide a written opinion from a good tire shop to support your position that a bad alignment caused the damage before going back to Ford.
I hope you have a great Ford service center that values it's customers. It's worth a try.

The truck was just at the dealer at 10k, and the wear was already visible, nothing was done or said, as far as I know. My wife drives it mostly, and took it in, so I hadn't really noticed. We shall see how it goes.

I have the identical wear pattern and do drive a lot of winding roads. I’ll ask dealer I’m at 12k miles.

Result from showing the dealer: Yup, the alignment seems off, not our problem.
Took the truck to Les Schwab, aligned it and put new shoes on.

We did have a puncture that was repaired and failed again, so I guess it was time.
Not a great experience so far wrt the tires or support and service.

Did you replace the two fronts with the same OEM tire? I need to purchase one as a spare and I can't find any place that sells them other than Ford.

Hi -I am experiencing the same issue with the tread wear pattern and potential alignment. I am not expecting much from Ford but wanted to add this here should others want to reference it as a larger issue.

Yes. We also swapped out the tires and wear has been good ever since.

I have a similar wear pattern. 16k miles. Whe i did the 10kmile service they did recommend an allignment. I had it done but was curious why. Makes sense the truck had poor allignment from factory.

Usually Ford will cover alignment under warranty for first 12,000 mile and first year.
