My dealer is going to wrap mine for $80 to match Leadfoot. I’m still a couple weeks away from getting the truck since it was just shipped last week so I can’t take any pictures yet.

I should be getting my truck within a few days and have been anticipating the different options to get rid of the chrome.

1) Replace with Black Plastic OEM - $60/mirror
2) Gloss Black Vinyl Wrap - $75/mirror

Option 1 will be the matte plastic finish, while option 2 is a gloss look. I am going to wait and get the truck in person and see what would look better. But providing pricing options for those that are considering something similar.

I went to ford and they said the black skull caps were basically $100 each, your part numbers show about $27 each. Did you order and use these? If so, how did you remove the chrome ones?

Anyone use the TRAIL RIDGE brand caps? I just want black textured and these seem to be ok. I just cannot find a good removal tutorial of the existing ones

yes used them and they fit perfectly. Watched a few videos like this one on YouTube.

thanks, yes I watched this too but he said the old caps will break when removing, wonder if there is a way to remove without breaking the tabs?
