Oh great! It’s long but I’m looking forward to watching this. I’m on the waiting list for a cybertruck. So I’m curious about how well it does towing also. Thank you so much!

Gentlemen! This may be a little off topic but this thread has “hopefully” cleared some concerns that I have. Previous Tesla Model S owner. Absolutely love that car as well as the whole EV experience. I am a Land Surveyor driving an F150 pulling a side by side daily approximately 100 miles round. I really want a Lightning but am concerned about range pulling the 14 foot trailer carrying a Polaris Ranger and a few hundred pounds of equipment. The town I commute to and from is smaller than Mayberry. In other words, no charging options. If I KNEW that an extended range Lighting (320) would comfortably support that daily task, I’d own one. Thoughts and/or experiences?! Thank you !
I have a 14’ Gatormade Utility Trailer (#7000) and I would have no issue pulling it on a 100-120 round trip.

That was very informative. Thank you! I noticed that it was costing these guys $70 + to charge these trucks. I had no idea coming from grandfathered in Supercharging. Wow! Not much less than gasoline. I remember a girl telling me it cost her $5 to change her Model 3 while we were chatting at a supercharger in Texas. My home electricity bill went up approximately $80 / month. I generally kept it plugged in at all times while sitting in the garage. Also. Do you have the extended battery in your lightning?

I've got 3 with Free Unlimited Supercharging myself that I refuse the sell for that exact reason. I have one that has a book/trade in value of less than $9,000 and last month alone I used nearly 1200kWh of supercharging on that one.

Yes, I have an extended battery in mine.

The costs will vary but generally speaking I calculate $0.36/kWh on the truck when I'm on the road (Free/Solar at home) At a 131kWh pack and a 15% buffer, I use 110kWh as a "fill" or a "tank full" That is approximately $40 per fill to go 150 miles approximately.

If you don't charge at home, the numbers aren't great. If you're mostly around town and will be plugging in every night, the economics change drastically.
