Traded in my Pro, got an XLT ER

There isn't a single thing on the Lariat, I'd want, that the XLT ER doesn't have. That was my thought process.

- I have a Comma 3x, so I have no need for Blue Cruise and I would never use it.

- I hate the larger screen and lack of button climate controls.

- I don't care about a moonroof, and considering how many have leaks, Id rather not have it.

- The Lariat leather seems to have wrinkling/durability issues. If I want leather I will install Katskin which is nicer, in my opinion, than the Lariat leather.

To each their own, only matters if you are happy. Having come from a Pro I knew exactly what extras I'd use and what would just be a waste of money.

Geez I’m not going to make this a spitting match on which trim is better for the cost. You seem very defensive, sorry. You did you and I did me.

Not defensive at all, not arguing nor do I have any hostility. Just explaining my reasoning, like I said, all that matters is that we're each happy with our trucks.

If anything, I was surprised you went all the way to a Lariat ER. Most Pro buyers were cost/budget conscious.
