When this happens (will toggle on but toggle right back off), it usually means a module needs updating. The APIM asks a module for the service but the module doesn't support it.

Happened when folks were enabling BC toggles without getting the IPMA update. Happening to me now when trying to enable "Pro Power With Truck Off" toggle - my PCM needs updating.

Are all your modules up to date?

Almost certainly not. I’ll have to decide if I want to pay the FDRS cost to do that update. I’ve been meaning to update the Mustang as well, so it might be worth it to do so over the weekend.

Another possibility is it may need a few restarts (or the old 12V disconnect) to reset some modules.

Great discussion, I hope this applies to Hill Descent Control too

5th drive mode called Slippery.

I assume this is only for use off-road/soft dirt? I would love it for some u-turns I need to make in my neighborhood.
According to the owners manual.

According to the owners manual.

[INFO on SLIPPERY MODE]
Hmm, something's gone askew with this thread... My response above about how I wish *this* could be used for u-turns was directly below a post about Trail Turn Assist (not slippery). Someone showed a screenshot with A Trail Turn Assist option on a Lightning 15" screen. The same screenshot did not show slippery so I surmised the truck must not have been a 2025.

@TaxmanHog - did some messages get moved around? I don't even see a Wednesday post with the Lightning Trail Turn screenshot anymore. Maybe deleted? Or is it all a dream?

Strange things afoot at the circle k. :bandit:
No trail turn assist in any menu's on my truck. The manual mentions a couple times "depending on vehicle options"

One of the videos above covered the trail turn assist, but I don't recall seeing / moderating any photos in the thread.

I updated all my modules, but the trail turn assist toggle still doesn't stay engaged. Bummer. I wonder if some other setting in the ABS module needs updating.
