Trailer Camera and Trailer Tire TPMS

In the camera menu, I notice there is an option to view the trailer camera, and also Trailer Tire Pressure

Where can I find info about the trailer camera connections? is it wireless or wired?

I hate everytime I need to put my giant trailer camera screen on the dash since the space is very limited (its gonna block my view on windshield or the sync4a screen in one way or the other)

any info and possibility price are appreciated.

Looking for answers to your same questions! I recently added an Airstream to the family and we tow her with our Lightning. I want to add a tire pressure monitor and camera for the trailer. Wondering if anyone knows a make/model for both of these that will integrate nicely with the Lightning?

It was an option when you ordered your truck. A dealer can install or order it for you. I believe the Ford accessory would be the only one that would integrate with the Sync screen.

Thanks for your quick reply. I will check with the dealer. I have the Pro Trailer Backup Assist…. Hoping that will be a good start.

It was a $1000 add on. My thought was to order an aftermarket solution. I’m reconsidering though. Having no extra screens is worth quite a bit extra.

I’ve been searching high and low for this information and it is a WELL KEPT secret. The Sync screen gives me a “trailer camera” option. Now I just need to know if there is a specific camera and what means is used to get it to talk to the Lightning.
