There is no chirp of any kind. if you get feedback you get the horn. Push lock twice it'll honk for confirmation. If you don't flip the switch and get you get out of the truck with it on and leave the key in it, it will honk.
When I used the word "chirp" when describing enabling/disabling an auto alarm/security system, usually the word chirp means whatever the alarm sound is... be it via horn, siren etc. In this case, I meant the horn chirping as an audible notification that your truck is armed/disarmed. In the 12 volt car alarm system world that I grew up in, we just called the audible notification a chirp.
