Upper dash tray power port addon

It looks like Bulletpoint Mounting Solutions just released their Gen14 phone/accessory mounts for the upper dash tray (in front of the center speaker). Has anyone tried mounting any sort of power outlet in that tray, and how hard was it to get power up there? Thinking of adding the tray mount with a 12v plug plus a USB/USB-C outlet so I can power a wireless charger and my trailer rear camera display without having to plug into the back of the center console, still can't believe that is the only 12v plug when you have the 7.2kw generator.

I just got this for now to power the Furrion monitor for our TT back up camera. But I would prefer to have a true 12v outlet in that area like the Ram trucks have.

I'm sure you could find an aftermarket place to wire up a 12V line off one of the existing fuses in the passenger side kick panel. just an idea

haha I feel ya buddy - I was stressing when they wired up my 2 channel BlackVue dash cams - but you can't even tell they were in there!
