Depends which USB-C; but the one under the screen can connect Airplay or AndroidAuto

I believe USB-C charges faster and the cord can plug in either way, because we all know the first way we try to plug in a usb cord never works and it takes 2 additional tries to get it plugged in ;-)

Both USB-A and USB-C are charging/data ports.
I use USB-A for my memory stick with music files and USB-C to connect my phone for Android Auto, because wireless/bluetooth AA connection is VERY unstable and suddenly drops when you really need it.

In theory it may be the case, however I just tested the USB-C (in the front, not the one in the center console storage) and when plugged directly to my phone it provides standard, slow charge. Even when I connect it to a wireless phone holder it only charges in the standard speed.

I wish Ford would take the extra step and actually provided in their mediocre owner's manual a little bit more details about the different USB ports, what they can/cannot do.

I'll have to check tomorrow, but I could have sworn my Pixel 5a says charging rapidly in the truck. It only says that with higher amp chargers.
