- 2001 FORD RANGER, 2023 F-150 LIGHTNING
I guess it depends on the dealership. Around here, Northern Virginia, DC Maryland area, it was on the public websites, but sometimes in fine print...I looked high and low for several months, most dealerships really nearby had the high-end trucks out of my preferred price range....then there were the dealership that were adding markups of $10k, omg! Could not find a Pro anywhere.
So I waited patiently until the high demand dropped and as did the price, and I found a Pro with 9.6kW ProPower and towing package - I would have liked the spray-in bed liner too but 2 out of 3...
also they knocked $7500 off the price as a discount because they weren't set up to do the up-front tax credit yet.
As for the tax credit, I just looked at https://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/tax2023.shtml and searched and the three 2025 Lightning trims are listed (as long as MSRP is no more than $80k):
You can do your own search there - I picked a Ford Lightning put into service range of Jan 2025-Dec 31, 2026.
