Technically? Not much aside from his desire to redo the truck so that he has something that blows away the competition.Once they ramp that up, what else is there to do besides pivoting to the CT line
I don’t think it’s a capability thing. I think it’s going to be a capacity and profitability thing.
If MY continues to be sold out, it’s going to be hard to launch a truck with increasingly stiffer competition. Especially when the amount of cells required for the CT is going to be more than a MY. Same goes for profitability where the MY is going to be more profitable than immediately competing with a $40,000 Pro.
With those aspects, I expect him to delay the CT and keep the capacity at TX to pump out MYs until that demand starts leveling off.
Possible I’m wrong and he gets it out quicker, but I’m skeptical.
