One of the things I was looking forward to with getting Superchargers access was getting to use them in Mexico, particularly going from Laredo to Mazatlan. There are enough 250 kW Superchargers down there but the Tesla app doesn’t indicate that those Mexico Superchargers are available to non-Teslas. The FordPass app shows the Tesla Superchargers in Mexico but says they are not compatible with the Lightning.
Aren’t these the same 250 kW Superchargers we have in the USA? Why wouldn’t these chargers be compatible? Lightnings and all the other CCS EVs are going to be flooding Mexico in a few years, you would think that it’s in the both the American auto makers and Tesla to make sure the Superchargers in Mexico were compatible.
