Is a wifi connection required for the Pro charger? Or does it do its communication through the trucks modem when it is connected.

I ask because my charger will be installed in an unattached garage and my house wifi signal may not be strong enough to make it to the Pro charger. So was wondering if I need to change my wifi setup to get signal to the charger.

Thanks

It's not required. The wifi just lets you access some extra data and features, some of which are replicated on the in-truck screen.

There are ways to extend wifi. Some of the chargers have ethernet too.
