I test drive an F-150 from Village Ford for the day. It is a crew cab, which means it has the same dimensions as the $40K F-150 Lightning Pro that I have reserved. I review the vehicle and talk about how it "fits" my lifestyle, and then tried to fit the F-150 into my single garage that has a charger (from when I had a Volt).

Hope this is value added for you:

Did you measure your parking spot dimensions? Looks like it’s right at 19’6”?

Technically it should fit, BUT... it has a raised last 3 feet which means the placement of the wheels/tires make a difference. It fits better backwards than forwards.

That’s the info I am looking for, thank you and appreciate for your effort.

It would be painful to park in garage daily. But, I would love my F150 Lightning for sure. Just cannot wait.

I reserved 12 hours after the announcement, hope I can get it sooner.

Great video…one of the biggest reasons I am still on the fence.

Very hard to own a 3 car garage, and still getting stuck parking it outside because my builder didn’t provide the extra foot that would have made it easy.

I’m going to need to do the same test. Even if it fits…we still need to be able to get out of the truck!

And the age-old internet question... will it blend?

Given that some (all?) of the Teslas can, at least for a limited period - this could be a valid question!

overpaid computer nerd.
My Raptor fit with minimal 3 inches of clearance on both sides. I have zero concerns that the Lightning will be OK.

My home is a ranch built in the 70s, so I'm SOL on parking this thing in the garage. The height alone is a nonstarter. I'm planning on having someone extend the outlet in the garage to an outside wall.
