Wave 1 Lightning invitation email thread [Update: Emails AFTER 5PM ET]

My dealer will not tell me anything, how did you get this out of them.

Believe it or not, some dealers are really good. My salesman called me today to tell me where I'm at on their list and that I wasn't going to be ordering today. Called out of the blue. Wasn't expecting it.

Did you check the previous page? On the main reservation page before you select the Lightning. Mine had a link there to order and build.

Yah. Next to view I think it was. Had another link to select for configure and order.

Yes, you have it correctly. That exact screenshot has a CONFIGURE button next to the VIEW. When the order is then placed, mine now says just "View" again but instead of "Reservation" it says "Order"

Ordered, now on to the dealer to see about the Lariat option 18A Power Deployable Running Boards - it may take longer to build but I need them for my wife - only dealer can add tis option.

Will @Administrator be setting up a spreadsheet to enter our orders?

Wellllll now I won’t sleep until everyone here posts that the xlt is sold out and I’m waiting till next year. ? I am definitely the 5th allocation at my dealer if they even prioritized me correctly ?

Ended up ordering a Lariat ER+ in Antimatter Blue and only added drop in plastic bedliner. Had reservation submitted the minute before the presentation started 5/19/21, Koons Ford in Virginia was nice enough to say I was sitting #1 at the dealer, hopefully this helps to judge your own personal reservation timestamp...

Congrats to those who got it. I guess despite my dealer promise I'm not getting mine in today.

Most of the dealers don’t know the difference between a wave and model year.

No email, but was able to order in the last few minutes. Res # was xxx17156. Central Alaska. Dealer did require $1500 deposit. But price for Lariat LR with a few xtras came in $80,194, without ADM. Almost went for Pro, so for someone, "You're welcome". No smooching with dealer, or even contact after their email acknowledgement of my res. I just let the res. system run its course.

Oh yeah, the order sheet says " Est Del 20 weeks"

Update: I did receive the email invite after I had already ordered online.

I’m jealous of all the Lariats. I just couldn’t justify it lol. I ordered the basic Pro with max tow and spray in bedliner in Blue Ice.

On a better note my dealer already accepted my order!

So I ordered, and at 5:40 pm received my invitation to order.....

20 weeks and counting,

20 weeks was listed at the end of the initial order, before you when to the button to check-out (pay the $500)
