If the infrastructure doesn't get ahead of this we are gonna have to deal with long wait times if traveling. Right now, I never see a charge location full. That would def change in this scenario

Although, not good for us, Ford is being smart on this. They can't afford to build the charging infrastructure. There will be a lag, but if the the vehicles are out there and people are willing to pay to DC fast charge, someone will build it.

My opinion is the today's EVs are for those who nearly always drive less than 200 miles per day and have a second ICE vehicle in the household. Those thinking it's a daily "road trip" vehicle are usually not happy. In 5 years, the infrastructure may be there to easily make long distance trips, and then EVs are for the masses.

That clip was back in 2022. I believe things have drastically changed with fords EV'S since then. I love my lightning but rather glad there are not as many others going to EV'S as expected. When that happens you can bet the cost of electricity will have to increase. We need to focus on our outdated electrical grid. Take a look at California, they won't even let them run their air conditioners, soon they'll be telling them they can't charge their EV'S.
