[My 2ND Ford]

What happens to an OTA update if you are not connected to a wifi network. I am away from home for the next month and my truck is with me, but where I am staying does not have a reliable wifi network. Will the update remain active in the system until I return home or does it expire, which then forces me to the dealer to have it installed. Thanks

You will be fine. The truck has a cellular modem built in and can still download and install updates from Ford. The wifi just makes it quicker.

Glad to help. I have had mine for a month now and no update as of yet but it is a job 2 truck and who knows when they will push one plus from reading some people are stuck so for now it's a waiting game.
