Any sign of this in FDRS yet? Seems like the IPMA PSCM update would be the one we did already and perhaps there’s another APIM update with some as built config programming changes to activate things in the UI?
I check FDRS every single day and nothing. I even ran a network scan on my truck an hour ago. :(

I picked up the truck in July 22, so next year will be time to renew or not…

Too bad we can’t update without the software and OBD connection. I remember for SYNC 3 you just needed a large USB drive.
I live out on the East End of Long Island. If you ever get stuck on an update or want to update everything and are fine with driving to NY, I have an FDRS license and a cable. I charge $0. Some updates can take hours though, so expect to waste a day... I'm like you, I miss those USB updates, and I have no interest in waiting for OTAs (even though I also have 2022 which always got updates).

Yup I have a 2023 ER Lariat and still stuck on 4.x power updates.......so now you say 7.x is out? I still don't have 5.x or even 6.x .....what is wrong with Ford???
@1Jetpilot

If you get any 5.x updates you let us all know.
we’ve all been waiting on those, yet not one owner has gotten that.
hope it has something good. 😊

there weren’t any 5.x.

until bluecruise 1.4 is released you aren’t missing much. No performance updates.(nothing that increases range.
a couple of niceties.

as an option you could self install the updates. There is a whole section here with hundreds of post on how to.
needs $550 interface
2 day fdrs license
a battery charger (not a battery minder)
and time - my first batch from the 4.x over 5 hours.

I will let you all know but I haven't gotten any OTA power Updates for over a yr (July 2023).
Very frustrating and I feel Ford owes us at least continuous updates for 23 or later

Wonder how well received these upgrade delays are going to be received when you just put down an additional $800 for 1yr license renewal?😡

Oh wait I’m not going to pay anything like that for a promise and a prayer!!

One nicety is the EV charging stations along Apple Maps. I understand you need 6.4 for that and we haven’t even gotten 5.x.x yet. Am I the only one that lacks 5.x and 6.x? Seems like it. No, I do not wish to pay $550 and go through the headaches

FYI, there are no 5.X updates. Dunno why but they skipped from the 4.X to 6.X

I was looking around and noticed the following updates that might get release soon…
I logged in to FDRS today while I was diagnosing a faulty parking sensor, and saw these updates ready to push. I installed IPMA, PSCM, and CMR updates (plus OCSM and OBCC that I believe are unrelated), which took close to 4 hours total. I took the truck out for a test drive on my typical work commute route (all Bluecruise), and it’s DRAMATICALLY improved. Over a 16-mile out and back loop on I-95 north of Boston, there are six points where hands-free would consistently deactivate approaching corners and ask me to take control. After the update, there were ZERO deactivations on my test drive. It is much smoother and more confidence inspiring in the corners as well; it makes finer, yet firm adjustments earlier in the corner to stay centered in the lane. The lane biasing and lane change assist features are unfortunately not activated yet, it must need the Sync update to add those options to the UI and enable them to be used. Overall though, I’m SUPER impressed with the driving capability of the new hands-free algorithm. It’s not a subtle update…it’s very noticeable. I am in the EA program, but I don’t know if this was an EA push, since it was available in FDRS.
