Yeah, but literally 'thousands' of digits between some of these numbers?VIN#s are assigned WAY before a vehicle/parts/blending happens down the line, depending on parts available, issues with technology, or something that takes the vehicle 'off line' or out of sequence...
when you got your VIN# weeks ago, there was no real way to Guarantee that it will be right behind the prior VIN# and right before the next... humans are involved.
And there's no real reason for such large variations?
I mean I could understand it if all Platinums were in the 5000 range, and all Lariats in the 2000 range, or something like that.....but just a random number generator picking VINS?
